Basic info
I still have scars from the first day I learned to ride a bike. Bike commuting later in life led me into racing in 2002 while in school at U. Nevada, Reno. I rode my bike across the country in 2005 after graduating. Re-started racing again in 2006, and finally upgrade to Cat 1 this year (2009).I work in renewable energy research at the Desert Research Institute. I also teach a couple classes in the mechanical engineering department at U. Nevada, Reno.
